Day to day, you work in the chat with one Action at a time. When you want to step back, Donna has two wider views: the outcomes view, which lists every Outcome you have, and the showcase, which holds one Outcome’s whole story. Both are for looking; the work itself stays in the chat.

Every Outcome, in three rooms

Open the outcomes verb in the top-right corner on desktop (on a phone, the menu glyph in the bottom bar, then Outcomes) and every Outcome appears, grouped in three rooms: “going on” holds everything in progress, “resting” holds the ones you have set down, and “landed” holds the ones whose success picture came true. Each row shows:
  • the Outcome’s Area
  • how many Actions you have put in, once there is one
  • when it started
Landed Outcomes stay visible in their room rather than disappearing, and so do resting ones: setting something down never hides it. “Going on” and “landed” carry a count. “Resting” does not. The rooms themselves, and parking, are defined on the Outcomes concept page.

Opening one Outcome’s showcase

When an Outcome is born, it appears as a card in your chat feed. Tap the card to open its full showcase.

What the showcase shows

The success picture

The success picture you named, what “done” looks like, with a sense of the effort you have put in so far.

The trail of Cycles

A spine of Cycles runs from your very first one to the one you are in now. You can see the work accumulate, Cycle by Cycle.
The showcase gathers progress that is otherwise hard to hold in your head. Donna marks nothing in it as late or missed. If you gave the Outcome a starting point, landing it shows that starting point next to where you ended up.

What you can do from here

  • Reflect on a past Cycle. Tap one and Donna picks up that thread back in the chat.
  • Land the Outcome. When the success picture has come true, you land it. A landed Outcome moves to the landed room and stays in your trail.
  • Park it. Set the whole Outcome down for now. Parking sets no countdown, and you pick it back up whenever.
The doing always happens in the chat: starting the next Action, reviewing a Cycle, shaping what is next. Use the “back to chat” link to return to the work whenever you are ready.

When an Outcome is born

Starting a brand-new Outcome in a desktop-sized window splits the screen: you keep talking with Donna on one side while the Outcome takes shape on the other. When you commit to the first Cycle, the Outcome moves into your feed. On a phone-sized window, the new Outcome appears as a card you tap to open.
